"I am really interested in typography that isn’t perfect, type that reflects more truly the imperfect language of an imperfect world, inhabited by imperfect beings.” Barry Deck
'Think outside the box', a typeface created of various flat out boxes. It has two versions, 2D and 3D.
The typeface is imperfect and only a few characters make it understandable, much like language where a few words can be crucial. Sometimes, in order to understand eachother, we have to think outside the box.

A typeface and poster I created as a part of an exhibition called 'New'. The idea was to swap around some personality-defining cultural artifacts and then to try to make sense of them through design.
I got swapped a CD with music from the french singer Edith Piaf who has the stage name 'La Môme Piaf' which means 'The little sparrow'. I found her music beautiful and sad at the same time which is what I tried to reflect in my typeface.

A little identity I created for myself. My middle name being 'Gunnarsdotter' which in Swedish means daughter of Gunnar, hence the two people in the mark.
